You don’t need a dictionary in one hand and caffeine in the other to write a great copy.
When I started, I wrote for 3–4 hours a day.
Fancy words. Smart lines. Zero impact.
I thought “logic sells.”
I listed every rational reason to buy.
Reader understood
But didn’t act
And that… is the mistake most beginners make.Because copy doesn’t exist to be understood. Copy exists to make people DO something.
Look at your own scrolling habits.
You like what makes you laugh.
You save what hits your heart.
You share what makes you feel seen.
You ignore what’s boring. Every. Single. Time.
boring = no likes
So now you can understand if your copy is boring noone reads it
No attention → No feeling → No action
Which means you have to make an emotional copy that triggers feelings.
a feeling that triggers to take action immediately
Emotion → Action
Logic → “I’ll think about it
I bet you’ve seen that one relatable post with caption of “Tag that friend who’s always there for you”
Yesterday, my friend shared one with me:
“So many fake friends in this fake generation so I’m grateful to have you bro”
Caption “tag that bro”
I tagged back with “ love you my fem boy💔🥀” Lol
No one forced anything. The CTA worked because the emotion hit first.
Imagine If that post was like this “send to your friend if you love him” = wasted
Emotional messages trigger feelings that result’s people taking action.
Conclusion
If you want action, go after emotions every time.
See you soon

P.S. That friend I mentioned? We’ve been bros since kindergarten. 10+ years. (Tag your bro today🤝)
P.P.S. I learned this from Robert Collier’s Letter Book. I share these lessons daily on X. Follow me. I'm your new favorite copy curator. ✍️🔥
