Men Don’t Stop

Today was a normal day.

I walked into the gym, warmed up, and started my workout.

Half of the session finished 

Still no one showed up.

Not my gym bros.

Not the regulars.

No background noise. 

Then it clicked.

It was leg day.

Nobody wants to destroy their legs.

Nobody wants to cry while walking downstairs.

Nobody wants to wake up wrecked the next morning.

So they skip.

I didn’t.

I woke up and ran to the gym

before my brain could negotiate with excuses.

Every rep was slow.

Controlled.

Painful in the right way.

And see…

It didn’t matter who was with me.

Or who wasn’t.

Discipline doesn’t need company.

I train legs twice a week for a reason.

Because the hardest days build the strongest base.

Skipping leg day is easy.

So is quitting when no one’s watching.

I don’t want chicken legs.

More importantly, I don’t want a weak standard.

Show up.

Especially when it sucks.
