I was that guy who was constantly posting daily stuff. And hoping someone sees my content.

Instead smart and creative people know LISTENING AND BEING FAN OF OTHER WORK, is just as important as starting their own.
It’s better to have few die hard like genuine followers than thousands of passive ones.
Focus on relationships built on shared curiosity and interest. Being curious, attentive, and helpful makes you someone worth following.
But make sure you ignore energy drainers!

But how to test it ?
Before you start engaging everywhere, do the vampire test. Does this person/community energise or drain you? Only engage where you feel energised
Engaging with people in your niche’s community is one of the best things you can do. Join discussions, share ideas.connect with people who understand your work.
Two of my friends started on X at the same time
David 60 days, 500 followers, posting daily. Result 0 clients, barely any engagement
James 60 days, 300 followers, posting daily Result 4 clients, DMs every week
What’s the difference?
David only posted his own content. James spent 30 minutes daily commenting on others’ posts, DMing new followers, joining conversations.
Same niche. Same posting frequency. Different strategy.
Consistency matters but only if you are doing it in the right order. If you want to stand out, do the things that most people aren’t doing.
Peers who share your passions are essential for growth.
Lesson ?
Don’t just promote yourself. Be an active, curious participant in your community. Build genuine connections, surround yourself with positive people and engage in meaningful interactions. Do the test remove negative people and keep positive ones.
